Host a Screening
Three local governments have banned balloon releases. Each one followed somebody showing this film to a room full of people.

Most of our screenings are community events where the film’s message is amplified by speakers from organisations with a similar message.
There is a lively and growing global conversation happening around marine debris, plastic-free living and sustainability. We are thrilled that our film can play a role in it.
Some screenings also feature a Q&A with the filmmaker, or with others who appeared in the film and are authorities on the subject.
Some organisations run remote screenings: instead of showing the film in a cinema, they arrange for audience members to watch from home at an agreed time, then hold a virtual discussion afterwards.
How it works

Get in touch
Tell us roughly where, when and who for. We will send you a Dropbox link to download the full or reduced-length film in high resolution, free of charge.

Pick a format
A venue screening, or a remote one where your audience watches from home and joins a virtual discussion. The reduced-length version leaves more room for discussion afterwards.

Let us know the date
If Carly can attend, she will. If not, she may be able to point you towards someone else who could speak on the night – a local conservation group is what turns a screening into an action.
You would be in good company
Rubber Jellyfish has been screened by activists, organisations, community groups, festivals and universities in over 80 locations around the world – hosted by Wildscreen, Sea Shepherd, Balloons Blow, Algalita, NOAA, Southern Cross University, Demand Film, Sunshine Coast Council, SWELL Festival and dozens more.
Activists are using the film as a conservation tool to push better legislation across the line.
