Host a Screening
Three local governments have banned balloon releases. Each one followed somebody showing this film to a room full of people.

Most of our screenings are community events where the film’s message is amplified by speakers from organisations with a similar message.
There is a lively and growing global conversation happening around marine debris, plastic-free living and sustainability. We are thrilled that our film can play a role in it.
Some screenings also feature a Q&A with the filmmaker, or with others who appeared in the film and are authorities on the subject.
Some organisations run remote screenings: instead of showing the film in a cinema, we issue a set of access codes so audience members watch from home at an agreed time, then come together for the discussion.
How it works

Get in touch
Tell us roughly where, when and who for. We will send a complimentary high-resolution download of the full or reduced-length film.

Pick a format
A venue screening, or a remote screening with access codes. The reduced-length version leaves more room for discussion afterwards.

Line up a speaker
A local conservation group, or a Q&A with the filmmaker where the timing works. This is what turns a screening into an action.

Tell us the date
We will add it to the public screenings calendar and share it on our social channels so people nearby can find it.
You would be in good company
Rubber Jellyfish has been screened by activists, organisations, community groups, festivals and universities in over 80 locations around the world – hosted by Wildscreen, Sea Shepherd, Balloons Blow, Algalita, NOAA, Southern Cross University, Demand Film, Sunshine Coast Council, SWELL Festival and dozens more.
Activists are using the film as a conservation tool to push better legislation across the line.
